X043-R are LIVE in their latest ESEA match up https://go.twitch.tv/apo_g1
In our new series I will be bringing you X043-R’s best plays from ESEA. This week we see NinjaPete in the spotlight.
X043-R have got off to a difficult start in ESEA. Due to limited practice opportunity, they have essentially had to play PUG style, however the improvements were drastic going into the second match ups on both Inferno and Cbble. X043-R recorded their first official victory last night on Nuke. With newest member Dylan ‘Bloo‘ Hassett showing yet another strong performance.
X043-R will go again on Thu, Oct 19th at 7:30pm on de_cache, looking to get their first ESEA season on track with another W.
Best of luck.
X043-R will play their first ESEA match of Season 26 on Sunday 1st October at 2100GMT. This will be Rebellion’s first real challenge after their initial few months of orientation and some classic UK roster swapping. Now with the addition of Dylan ‘Bloo’ Hassett the team is looking forward to testing themselves against another new team, Dreaded-Alliance.
If there is enough interest, the game can be streamed. Comment here to let us know if that’s something you’d like!
X043 is proud to announce it’s Rebellion side. In X043’s prime, the Rebellion side was the second string team to the X043 1st team. Players in this team would be chosen to join the first team if they proved themselves. HenryG being a prime example of this process back in CS:Source.
X043 Rebellion will be keen to prove themselves by taking part is ESEA EU CS:GO Open Season 26.
X043 Rebellion is:
Ben ‘ben0‘ Balcombe – Manager/ Coach
Pete ‘NinjaPete‘ Lannon
Matthew ‘Monopolizer‘ Fender
Dylan ‘Bloo‘ Hassett
Joshua ‘Flight‘ Nagy
James ‘Sledge‘ Fish

Could you benefit from the wisdom and advice of some older been there done that players?
One of the things I had a knack for in my prime was spotting talented players and bringing them up to speed.
I think ben0 just had the eye for talent and always did and could see quality’s in players that no one else could.
–George ‘HudzG’ Hoskins

Richard “Dr. Gonzo” Lewis shares his derailed train of thought with the wider world in his regular column feature, Gonzorreah.

It was just another night in what had been dubbed “The Zboard House” as if it was some kind of reality TV show. During the course of the Championship Gaming Series event there’d been more than one party back here, weird mixes of the contenders and the people who just saw the event as a way to get some free money, sat up drinking at all hours. I was covering the event for the CGS website, some of my first salaried work in e-sports and while I was keen to do a good job, I’d spent most of my nights here, sleeping on the pull out sofa bed like a derelict in the midst of a divorce. There was a premise for that also. Somehow I’d ended up manager of Zboard just before what was, on the surface of it, the single biggest thing to happen to UK CS:S. Each morning I’d wake up to find a room full of strange faces and have to stumble across a floor full of empties just to fix up some coffee in the hope that it would sober the guys up in time for our games. Where big John “Gandofini” Johnston was concerned I’d be slipping some whiskey into his morning coffee to take the edge off a crippling hangover. It was, after all, just the way he liked it and it was the least I could do as “the gaffer”. Continue reading “‘Gonzorreah: The £500k Slap’ – Nominated for ‘Scene Journalist Award 2009’”
